St Andrews Christian College is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our PE Department in the role of Casual Sports Coaches. These positions are located in Wantirna South and offer exciting opportunities to contribute to the development of our students through sports coaching.
The Casual Sports Coach at St Andrews Christian College is responsible for delivering engaging and skill-focused sports coaching sessions for students as part of our extracurricular program, held before and after school. This role aims to foster students’ physical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive Christian environment.

Casual Sports Coach – Position Description
Acceptance and adherence to the College’s Statement of Belief is an essential condition of employment.
Responsibilities- Assist in setting up and packing up before and after sessions;
- Assist in conducting effective coaching sessions tailored to a variety of skill levels;
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and a positive attitude in all sporting activities;
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students;
- Support the Sports Coordinator in organising equipment, managing attendance, and other administrative tasks as needed;
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting St Andrews Christian College’s values and sportsmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the role
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role (desirable)
