Your ContributionThe Cardiology Department at StVincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, is a busy tertiary referral unit that provides diagnosis, consultation, and intervention across all areas of cardiology. The echocardiography laboratory performs transthoracic, stress, and trans‑oesophageal echocardiography using state‑of‑the‑art digital equipment, including contrast, 3D echocardiography, and myocardial deformation assessment. Echocardiography supports the structural heart disease program and the hospital also offers cardiac MRI and CT coronary angiography services. StVincent’s Hospital is a leading teaching, research and tertiary health service that operates across Fitzroy, Kew and Truganina sites.
