Manging all aspects of the BWL Talent Pathway, ensuring the effective identification, confirmation and development of athletes who have the potential to medal at an Olympic and Paralympic Games. Core responsibilities include; establishing and implementing robust talent identification and confirmation processes, managing the delivery of a regional and national support structure and programmes, develop and implement nationally, the athlete development curriculum to ensure the sustainable progression of athletes to the World Class Programme and ultimately the Olympic Games.
To support the effective participation and performance of Team GB at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
To manage and co-ordinate the planning and implementation of British Weight Liftings National Competitions programme in co-operation with all stakeholders. Ensuring the competitions run effectively aligned to the IWF international competition rules and regulations.
Core responsibilities include coordinating the operations and administration of the Olympic Weightlifting and IPC Powerlifting performance programme and overseeing the delivery of the training camps and competitions. Coordinating the development and implementation of the BWL England Talent Pathway leading to the GB Talent Programme ensuring succinct delivery and clarity of the talent-elite pathway. Assisting in the overall direction of the BWL Performance programme.
Assist the Team GB Director of Games Services in all aspects of operational planning and delivery to enable the successful participation of Team GB at the London 2012 Olympic Games
Core responsibilities included providing administrative and project support to the BWL Performance Programme. Also camp logistics support for the training and competition programme for GB Olympic Weightlifting and IPC Powerlifting athletes.
