Over 14 years’ experience developing grass roots football from infancy to club development. Proven self-starter with management and event experience. Successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, able to motivate key stakeholders contribute to the project's vision.
Passionate about sport and have been an active volunteer since 1991. Endeavour to help individuals, less fortunate develop themselves by identifying gaps in provision and providing opportunities and resources to develop themselves. Seeking wider project management opportunities focusing specifically on leading and consulting with key stakeholders in the sport and leisure industry.

Key Achievements
· Has the Community Cohesion Officer I supported the England World Cup 2018 bid by gathering supporting evidence of local sport and hospitality provision across West Yorkshire.
· Managed the £160,000 budget for the Community Cohesion project by developing programs utilising football and physical activity as a tool in the engagement with hard-to-reach groups and other community members to develop community cohesion.
· Secured over £5000 funding from various sports and community grants to develop a football provision in one of the most deprived communities in the UK.
· Nominated by the Football League Trust for the Community Club of year award in 2009.
· Reinforced academic qualification in Sports Development by completing a vocational degree.
· In 2002 has an Action Sports Officer I collated and produced a comprehensive funding guide which was distributed to over a 1,000 individuals and community groups.

· Enable 12 trainees a week to cycle safely, promoting cycling as a means of transport and a fun, healthy activity.

· My time has been spent continually seeking new ways to develop my skills to boost my employability chances by volunteering my time on local community and charity projects.
· Influenced and persuaded ex-professional footballers from Leeds United and Bradford City to support a charity match to raise money towards a local children’s hospice.
· Supported a local charity organised 5 sports events to raise money for a Martin House Children’s Hospice.
· Volunteered with Blue Apple to help 20 unemployed individuals’ that are less fortunate rekindle or develop new skills in becoming more employable.

· Ensured each department had the appropriate complement of rostered staff, and was responsible for the co-ordination of reactive shift cover for the Centre whilst on duty.
· Had an active “hands on” approach in response to peak times and high volumes of customers across the Centre.
· Ensured that the Centre, surrounding area and all activities which took place on the site were maintained and carried out in a safe condition in compliance with current Health & Safety legislation.
Community Cohesion Officer 2008 – 2010
Bradford City FC Community Foundation / Bradford Council
· Managed the £160,000 budget for the Community Cohesion project by developing programs utilising football and physical activity as a tool in the engagement with hard-to-reach groups and other community members to develop community cohesion.
· Successfully develop an effective marketing strategy, by engaging with over 20,000 people attend activities through the Community Cohesion Project.
· Led on the strategic development plan for football in Bradford with particular focus on community development.
· Created and sustained partnerships with external and internal service providers to deliver the key aims and objectives of the development plan.
· Developed a new innovative project called the Midnight Football league in Bradford, specifically targeting young people identified by the police to attend a diversionary project.
Assistant Community Sports Officer 2005 – 2008
Leeds City Council
· Created a Community Sports Legacy’ in a deprived community by overseeing the refurbishment of a disused facility, by eliciting consultation with community users and key stakeholders, identifying and successfully applying for a number capital grants.
· Led on a capital funded project to refurbish a multi-use games area that cost over £150,000.
· Facilitated partnership buy-in and project development.
· Developed new and sustained existing sport and leisure provision for young people.
· Audited the whole sports provision across a particular area of Leeds looking at facilities, clubs, schools, colleges and university.
Action Sports Officer 2001 – 2005

· Managed the Awards for All budget of £3,500 by implementing 5-year development plan for junior football.
· Organised a number of sports competitions, taster sessions and stalls for community sports day.
· Provided support and training to volunteers, mentors and teachers by delivering coaching education workshops.
