Job Description

The Melbourne Rebels Rugby Union is professional Rugby Union Club participating in the Super Rugby Competition. We are 11 years young, living LOVE in the best city in Australia!

The Melbourne Rebels have an exciting opportunity for an Office, Events and HR Coordinator!

As Office, Events and HR Coordinator you will be a key contact at our Club and a vital member of our Commercial Team with involvement in many parts of the Club. Working closely with the CEO, Board and the GMs - your professional and positive working style will be highly valued! This is a varied role with no two days the same - working across Game Day and Corporate Events and liaising with an array of internal and external stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Office Management - communications, mail distribution, courier deliveries and collections, ordering supplies, managing access and car parking;
  • CEO and Board - diary management, coordination of Board meetings, action items as required;
  • Administration - preparation of documents, presentations, reports and agendas as required by CEO and GMs;
  • HR Coordination – recruitment, contracts, HR file management, new starter documentation and induction;
  • Finance administration – working with GM Finance to assist with accounts administration as required;
  • Events – assist with the organization and execution of game day events and corporate hospitality – coordination of invitations and RSVPs, organising tickets, liaising with VIPs, working with Catering supplier

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a EA or PA or Office Management role;
  • Previous experience in HR (1-2 years)
  • Previous experience in Events
  • Professional working style, discretion, ability to keep information confidential
  • Warm and friendly communication style and enjoy working at events
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
