UniActive is the sport and fitness arm of PULSE, overseeing all things Sport & Fitness at the University of Wollongong, with the majority of our facilities located on the idyllic grounds of main campus. About the opportunity:
As the Operations Manager you will draw on extensive experience within the fitness/leisure/sports sector to provide strategic and operational leadership. Your strong commercial acumen will be backed up with diverse operational experience and know-how, ensuring you can lead from the front across a wide range of projects to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Aspects & Accountabilities:
Extensive experience as a Department Manager or Centre Manager within the sport, fitness and leisure sector.
Extensive experience training, mentoring and managing staff across a variety of roles and functions within the sector.
Tertiary qualifications in related discipline (Business, Sports Management)
Knowledge of the university sport sector ie) UniSport events and associated logistics.
