The Athlete Alumni Co-ordinator (AAC) position is a new and pivotal role set up by the BAC as we establish and develop our offering to former World Class Programme athletes. This role will assist BAC colleagues in developing this offering, identifying the needs of former athletes and establishing ways in which the organisation can meet these needs.
The role will require collaborative working with relevant partners (UK Sport, EIS, BOA & BPA), and the role holder will look to build and maintain strong relationships with the BAC membership both past and present, and other key stakeholders.
Reporting to the Athlete Engagement Manager and the Communications Manager, the post holder will contribute to the achievement of performance targets, aims and objectives set by the BAC through the following:
• Support development of alumni strategy with BAC team and Athlete Engagement Manager • Plan and co-ordinate alumni strategy delivery, working with relevant members of BAC team • Support delivery of BAC’s alumni communication strategy, including alumni newsletter, social media and all other alumni activity • Support delivery and planning of alumni events and activities • Develop, manage and be point of contact for BAC alumni network • Work collaboratively with BAC team to increase alumni services, benefits and opportunities • Work collaboratively with BAC team to ensure alumni are up to date with services and benefits provided • Develop strong alumni voice to feedback into high performance system
