Looking for your next challenge?
Want to help make a positive impact with young people of our community?
Saints Foundation is the charity of Southampton Football Club - we're the club's way of giving back. We use the power and passion of the club to transform lives in and around Southampton, helping people fulfil their potential to be more involved, healthier and empowered members of the community.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be working closely with the Involvement Projects Manager and be responsible for the development and coordination of our ‘Premier League Kicks’ project which is supported by our amazing and committed team. Our youth engagement programme, PL Kicks is aimed at 8-18 year old's and strives to bring young people together to play sport whilst socialising with friends.
You’ll be based at St Mary’s Stadium, or what we like to call ‘The Heart of Southampton’, in the city centre, just a 20-minute walk from the train station or if you’re a driver there’s free parking! There is also the option for flexible home-working a few days a week to ensure you get the balance you need to get the job done.
You’ll be provided with our Saints Foundation branded uniform supplied by Hummel, free tea & coffee (including our very much loved daily 3pm snacks!) and the opportunity to go make a positive input to our local community.
Is this you?
If you have previous experience in delivering successful projects in communities and working with young people in a community setting or with challenging behaviours, then you’ll know what it takes. You’re a people person and comfortable communicating to anyone. You understand the challenges in Southampton and want to make a long-lasting change, and you’re really enthusiastic about it! Plus, you’re super organised and excellent at building relationships.
We encourage anyone who is interested in this role apply. We are very keen to get a diversity of background, culture, experiences and ideas into all areas of the club. This is a role that will offer development, mentoring and training to the successful candidates.
How this benefits you…
