Vacancy Type: Full-Time fixed contract until June 2024 (extension dependent on funding).

The Role
Northumberland FA is looking for an enthusiastic development officer with a passion for grassroots football, in particular the development of the female game, to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operational delivery of our grassroots football strategy pertaining to the female pathway as well as futsal and recreational football.

Key Accountabilities
• To support delivery of The FA National Game Strategy and the Northumberland FA Business Strategy.
• To drive implementation of The FA’s growth strategy for women’s and girls’ football locally.
• To develop and deliver a sustainable plan for growth and quality in futsal provision across the whole football pathway.
• To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs.
• To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.
• To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance that are in place from time to time.
