ABOUT THE ROLE…
This is a unique opportunity to join one of Australia's most iconic swimwear brands. We are currently seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our Speedo sales team in VIC as State Manager VIC/SA/NT. As an ambassador of Speedo, this role is to manage the Victorian, South Australian and Northern Territory regions for the brand working with two direct reports, whilst also managing and growing the brands business within selected key accounts. In addition, the State Manager will foster and develop long term relationships between Speedo and its customers & provide the company with valuable industry feedback and insight.
This is a busy and dynamic role suited to a results focused, driven relationship manager, keen to foster long-standing relationships as well as develop opportunities to further enhance the business and portfolio. This position will require some state wide travel as part of servicing your designated territory.
Of course, we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic, and someone that understand and lives our brand. If you are a sports devotee who truly loves people engagement, that is a great start. As well as this, the following skills and attributes will contribute to your success in the role:
Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets and objectives
Well-developed people management skills
Outstanding relationship skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Well-developed computer skills for reporting/presentations
Excellent customer liaison skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
Results orientated with a solid ability to successfully reach predetermined targets
Highly motivate team player
Strong visual merchandising ability
Ability to laterally when problem solving
Proactive and flexible regarding work practices
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Strong organisation and time management skills
Ability to adapt and work with different personalities
3 years previous experience managing a team.
3 years previous experience as a Key Account Manager.
Relevant tertiary qualifications an advantage but not essential.
