The Institute of Swimming work in conjunction with Swim England as a subsidiary, and exist for the good of the sport; developing the best aquatic professionals is our priority.
We are the largest provider of Swim England qualifications and aquatics courses and we train over 60 per cent of all swimming teachers in the UK.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Funded Training Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis. With a flexible working schedule to suit both the ideal applicant and the business needs.
The role is based working from home currently until our offices reopen, when they do you would split your time between home working and office working depending on your workload and team requirements.
Reporting to the Head of Institute of Swimming, you will be responsible for managing the quality team and leading on all aspects of quality assurance for the Institute. Within this role, you would be responsible for developing, implementing and managing a quality strategy across the Institute. You would ensure that relevant quality assurance frameworks are in place across the portfolio of qualifications. You will manage and be responsible for all areas of quality and standards for our apprenticeship provision and RoATP.

The successful candidate must: • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working with Awarding Organisations quality assurance expectations and requirements, and deploying resource to meet these needs. • Experience of leading quality assurance of apprenticeship and funded training. • Excellent problem solving, complaint resolution skills together with the ability to plan, prioritise and work to pressured timescales. • Have the ability to, influence and motivate others to achieve outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practice. • Hold the appropriate teaching, assessing and internal verification qualifications. • Be prepared to undertake a DBS check.
