About the role
Glen Eira Leisure is looking for experienced and vibrant Group Fitness Instructors to join our team. We are an industry leader in health and wellness, offering over 300 Group Fitness classes per week at GESAC, the Caulfield Recreation Centre and Carnegie Swim Centre.
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for facilitating and conducting Group Fitness classes whilst motivating clients in a supportive and encouraging manner.
Key Responsibilities include:
Set up and take down equipment before and after classes
Keep members up to date with centre promotions
Provide guidance to trainee instructors
We are currently seeking instructors for the following classes:
LES Mills Tone
To be successful in this role you will be energetic and uplifting, delivering classes that are fun and maintain high attendance levels. You will have excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional relationship with members, ensuring all communications are positive and constructive.
Other requirements include:
Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Relevant Program Certification (Such as Zumba, Les Mills etc)
Demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional Group Fitness classes
Knowledge of relevant classes, programs and equipment used in fitness
Please note the successful candidate must be willing to undergo a police records check and pre-employment medical for the purpose of employment. Candidates must also provide evidence of current qualifications and registrations.
