About the role
?Carlton Baths is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable netball umpire to join our team at the centre. Our netball competition attracts participants who want a social environment to get active with their friends. The successful applicant will be the supervisor of the one-court stadium during the competition.
You will be an experienced umpire who will encourage the social aspect of the competition while keeping the game under control and in line with the rules of the game. You will also be committed to the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
This is a casual position with an hourly rate of $33.20 per hour + super.
A passion for the game of netball and knowledge of the rules
A friendly disposition and the ability to relate with others
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, lead by example and pitch in when required
Netball umpire qualifications desired, but not essential
Must be available to work Monday evenings
C-badge or higher (desired)
Experience umpiring netball games (required)
First Aid & CPR certification
All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
