Cricket Tasmania has an exciting opportunity for a trained physiotherapist with a strong understanding of strength and conditioning to support and assist in the physical performance and rehabilitation of Cricket Tasmania contracted cricketers. This role is a great opportunity to lead the physical development and rehabilitation of the next generation of cricket players in the Cricket Tasmania pathway with the intent to produce world class players and teams.
About the role
You will manage the state-wide delivery of physiotherapy services for pathway players of interest
You will coordinate the screening and profiling of pathway players of interest
You will lead all pathway return-to-play programs liaising with senior SSSM staff
You will plan, implement and review training workloads for players of interest
You will work collaboratively with strength and conditioning staff and other key stakeholders
You will support senior squads when required
You will provide match day support when required
You have a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy
You have level 2 Australian Strength and Conditioning Association accreditation or the ability and willingness to obtain it
You have a current first aid certificate including CPR
You have the ability to motivate and influence high performance cricketers, coaches and teams
You have a strong commitment to performance excellence
You have an understanding of modern coaching techniques and methodologies
Bonus points if
You have high experience working with elite teams
You have experience in return-to-play protocols at professional or academy level
