About the role
YMCA and Casey ARC are currently recruiting for a perm-part time diploma qualified educator. The position would involve:
Minimum of 10 hours per week at Casey ARC with a possible extension as this program continues to grow.
Potential increase in hours when needed to both Casey ARC and Casey RACE Child Care programs.
Working with chidren aged 0 -12 years of age
working between the hours of 9am -2pm Monday to Friday.
About the program:
The Centre opened in 2001 and is owned by the City of Casey, and managed by YMCA Victoria. The facilities on offer are vast and we cater for people of all ages and all levels of fitness.
Occasional Care allows parents/guardians the opportunity to have their child cared for whilst they leave the Centre to attend appointments, meetings, or simply have time for yourself.
Sessional Care provides high quality care for their children so that they can focus on their own health and wellbeing.
Actively studying towards or completed a Diploma in Early Childhood/Children’s services qualification
First Aid Level 2
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
Ideally the HLTAID004/0012 course (childcare first aid)
All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
