Location: Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium, Leicester.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time.
Salary: To be discussed at interview

The Role:
At Leicester Tigers, we are excited to announce that an opportunity has opened up to work within our Community Team, as a Community Rugby Coach (Project Rugby).

The primary focus of the role will be to work as a key coaching resource and team member of Tigers Community, focused to engage and enthuse all you meet to experience a positive outcome from being part of the Tigers Family.

You will be working as an integral part of the Community Project Rugby Team to specific KPIs as part of a high profile nationally recognized initiative, representing the Brand and values of Leicester Tigers and its’ Partners, across a wide spectrum of community groups, schools, colleges and rugby clubs.

Reporting directly to the Community Manager, the successful candidate will be working in a unique and exciting environment.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working closely with Junior Rugby Clubs and local Community Hubs / Colleges;
• Delivering a quality coaching experience that engages to deliver specific participation and pathway outcomes as part of the Tigers Project rugby initiative;
• Delivering an exciting and attractive, practical and theory based, coaching and physical activity programme, which stimulates the interest of students and staff within schools and colleges, as well as players, parents and coaches at rugby clubs and community hubs;
• Assisting in organising and administering pre and post-match coaching and activities before Tigers home games.
• Coaching on and assisting in preparing, promoting and running the Tigers’ Rugby Camps programmes on a domestic and international basis;
• Helping plan, deliver, coach, referee and administer various Community and Leicester Tigers’ Foundation programmes and activities;
• Helping establish a constructive relationship with partners, teachers, students, parents and local rugby clubs, and so generate more interest in Leicester Tigers, generating sales leads and opportunities;
• Carrying out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder’s capabilities.

Essential:
 Possession of Level 2 RFU Coaching qualification
 The ability to obtain an Enhanced RFU DBS Certificate.
 A full and valid UK driving licence.
 Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable:
 To have an understanding of NGB rules and age grade guidelines, whilst possessing a practical awareness of Child Welfare related industry concerns
 To have the ability to accept change and unsociable hours as needed
 Possess sound numeracy, literacy and IT skills
