Known for our people-first approach, Hawthorn Football Club is seeking to appoint a Digital Marketing Specialist.

About the role
Reporting to the Marketing & Content Manager, this person will be responsible for the club’s digital marketing strategy across email marketing, audience planning and paid advertising, with a focus on commercialisation, innovation and data growth, engagement, and conversion.
With a fan-centric mindset, this person will lead the club’s online presence including club websites and app, as well as owing the fan’s digital funnel.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will drive best practise user experience across all digital touchpoints through analysis, reporting and insights. With strong commercial acumen, this person will collaborate closely with the commercial team to create opportunities to commercialise assets.
With a direct report, you will effectively drive performance through collaboration, creativity and strong relationships.
The ideal candidate
You have 5+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, backed by relevant tertiary study in marketing/ digital media/multimedia. You have extensive knowledge of key digital and social platforms including CMS/HTML, app, CDP and CRM (preferably Salesforce / Marketing Cloud), Google Analytics / Ads, Facebook Advertising and Tableau.
A critical thinker with a love for data, you have demonstrated experience planning and implementing effective digital marketing strategies and understand best practise user experience.
An excellent communicator, you can quickly build rapport and manage stakeholders at all levels, working collaboratively to drive engagement and conversion.
