About the role 

As the Operations Team Leader, you will manage and lead a team of Pool Lifeguards and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets and exceeds the required standards. You will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.

A key function of the role will be ensuring that all aquatic facilities provide a safe, clean and enjoyable environment at all times with the minimal downtime of facilities.?

This position is being offered on a permanent part time basis (30 hours per wek) and is based at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre.

About you 

You will have strong leadership skills to effectively manage a large team of seasonal lifeguards in a busy aquatic environment. Aquatic Supervision will be a large focus of the role to ensure high levels of consistent supervision.

You will be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.

Essential Qualifications   

  • SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard Skill Set? (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
