About the role
YMCA and Casey Race are currently recruiting for casual Cert III educators. The position would involve:
working with children aged 0 – 12 years of age.
working between the hours of 9am – 12.15pm.
Working in sessional care whilst the parent attends the One Casey Recreation facilities and occasional care which allows parents to go shopping, attend appointments etc.
About the program:
Casey RACE (Recreation & Aquatic Centre) is one of Australia’s leading aquatic and leisure facilities for family fun and fitness. Casey RACE has something for everyone combining all the fun and excitement of waterslides and splash park, with leisure pools, 50 metre lap pool, warm water exercise pool, spa, sauna, steam room, occasional care service and fully equipped health club.
Occasional Care allows parents/guardians the opportunity to have their child cared for whilst they leave the Centre to attend appointments, meetings, or simply have time for yourself.
Sessional Care provides high quality care for their children so that they can focus on their own health and wellbeing.
Actively studying towards or completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood / Children’s Services or equivalent
First Aid Level 2
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
Ideally the HLTAID004/0012 course (child first aid)
All candidates will be required to undertake background and probity checks including Reference Checks, a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
