A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrative superstar to join our Football Department. The AFL Football Administration Executive will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and player/staff compliance requirements of our Club’s AFL Football Program. This role extends to providing executive assistance to the Senior Coach, General Manager - Football Operations, and General Manager - AFL Football Performance.


Reporting directly to the Football Operations Manager, the key areas of responsibilities include:

  • General administrative duties including daily mail and deliveries, reception as required, database management, general communication with staff, invoice preparation and coding, staff and player reimbursements, payroll deductions.
  • Manage AFL player/coach appearances.
  • Coordination of all flight/accommodation/meal requirements for interstate trips.
  • Organise ad-hoc travel requests for football department staff.
  • Coordination of season and weekly ticketing requirements & accreditation for players and staff.
  • Liaise with Casey Council regarding access swipe cards and maintenance coordination.
  • Point of contact for AFL Drug Testing.
  • Assist AFL Recruiting Department with weekly scout tickets.
  • Assist AFL Player Development Manager in communicating with parents/partners.
  • Providing executive assistance to the Senior Coach, General Manager of Football Operations, and General Manager of AFL Football Performance as required.


You are a natural team player with a strong work ethic. With your optimistic and can-do attitude, you will thrive in building positive and collaborative relationships, including the ability to build rapport and trust with senior Football executives and other internal and external stakeholders.

You are committed to achieving excellence working as part of a high-performing team; you like to take initiative, with a passion for compliance and continuous improvement. You have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills, coupled with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Experience within professional sport, and specifically the AFL Industry is preferred, but not essential.
