Due to the career development of the existing postholder, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Sport Rehabilitation Therapist to join the Injured Jockeys Fund at our rehabilitation centre, IJF Oaksey House, in Lambourn, Berkshire. Oaksey House is one of three rehabilitation centres run by the IJF, offering outpatient and residential rehabilitation to jockeys past and present.
As part of a small dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you will be working with jockeys and other elite sportsmen and women delivering:
• Comprehensive periodised rehabilitation and conditioning programmes to individuals and groups • completing screening/profiling and fitness testing • functional assessments and providing therapeutic interventions which will complement recovery and well-being
Accreditation to either BASRaT or UKSCA would be required for this role as a minimum, with at least two years’ postgraduate experience. Employment will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
