Job Description

Coaching Advisor

Location: Based at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham

Hours: Part time, 24 Hours per week (Between 8.30am and 6pm on a rota basis)

Salary: Band 2 (Non-Coaching) £18,999 - £25,594 FTE

British Canoeing is the United Kingdom's Governing Body for the sport and recreation of canoeing and kayaking. This is an exciting time to join British Canoeing, as we are develop our new strategy for Paddlesport for 2022-25.

The Coaching Advisor will provide excellent customer support to our delivery partners, the provider workforce and customer which will involve processing queries, registrations, applications and complaints. There will also be a requirement to conduct verification of courses and maintain appropriate records and certification. The ability to work accurately is therefore key to the role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills as the work will involve the recording, communicating and planning of awards, co-ordinating training and event programmes. Therefore the ability to confidently communicate across a range of groups and partners and being able to plan and prioritise a busy workload is essential.

Applicants will be able to work on their own initiative and be prepared to get involved in a range of activities across the team. Ideally with customer service experience you will have excellent IT and organisational skills. This is an ideal position for someone interested in sport and is looking for a role that will give variety and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to a busy coaching team.
