The Jackson Generals are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and experienced individual to lead the sales staff as The Assistant General Manager. The Jackson Generals are located in Jackson, Tennessee and are the Double A affiliate of The Arizona Diamondbacks. Duties to include:
- Assist General Manager with day-to-day operation of the club. - Lead and coordinate group sales effort for the club. - Oversee and work with Manager of Ticketing & Merchandise operations. - Manage corporate partnership accounts given by General Manager. - Generate new business through corporate partnerships via cold calling and setting up meetings. - Act as direct supervisor to group sales and ticketing staff. - Additional Game Day duties as directed by General Manager.
-Bachelor Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or related field. - 2 to 3 years of sales experience, preferably with a professional/minor league sports team. - Ability to multi-task. - Maintain a high level of professionalism. - Provide excellent customer service and generate repeat business and referrals. - Availability to work week nights, weekends and holidays, primarily April through September. - Experience leading a sales staff is preferred.
