Job Description

Hours required per week - (Can be Part time or Casual) - there is the ability for this role to be made up to Full Time by combining other administrative roles: 15-20 hours per week

Position Purpose:

  • Administrate (with the full support of WGC Employsure legal consultants) the recruiting, hiring, inducting, training and ongoing support of staff at WGC.         
  • To prioritise in every aspect of this role upholding WGC’s strong commitment to promoting and protecting the interests and safety of children and maintaining WGC’s zero tolerance for child abuse. 
  • To personally uphold, as well as ensure, all staff adhere to WGC’s Fundamental and Customer service values. 

Qualifications/Experienced Required: 

  • Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years relevant HR or Administration or Management experience 
  • Either HR or Management qualifications desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrating the recruiting, hiring, inducting, training and ongoing support of staff at WGC (with the full support of Employsure legal consultants).
  • Administer and support management in delivering Employee recognition and engagement 
  • Administer and support management in delivering Employee performance assessments (with the full support of Employsure).
  • Implement all HR requirements as directed by Employsure
  • Ensure Employee compensation meets all Employsure requirements (including relevant award) and is documented accordingly.


The HR Administrator is accountable to the Operations Manager and Director who are then accountable to the WGC committee.
