Location: Based at National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, NG12 2LU
Due to the nature of the role however it is possible to work remotely with occasional travel to the office.
Hours: Part time, 22.5 Hours per week. (Flexible arrangement considered)
Salary: £30k-£40k (FTE) per annum depending on experience

The Canoe Foundation Fundraising & Marketing Lead is an exciting opportunity to raise funds and awareness for the official charity partner to British Canoeing. This unique role has been created to lead on the co-ordination of the grant activities of the charity, to generate inward investment and donations, as well as design and manage a marketing campaign.
Proven success in fundraising messaging is essential, as you will play a vital role in engaging local communities and raising funds, helping us continue to create great places to paddle and protect the environment.
The role will work within British Canoeing’s Places to Paddle Team and will be required to bring together colleagues from across many departments. You will integrate and strengthen the impact of the Canoe Foundation within British Canoeing and throughout the paddlesport community.
With significant experience of project management within fundraising or marketing environments, you will ensure the successful alignment and delivery of external-facing activity including supporter communications, social media and events.
Your strong communication and influencing skills will see you navigating a broad group of stakeholders; from potential funders, to clubs, authorities to conservation agencies. You will deploy your analytical expertise to provide meaningful monitoring and evaluation to the Places to Paddle Manager and the Board of Trustees.
