Kew Swimming Club is seeking expressions of interest to join our coaching team. The club has expanded significantly, is continuing to grow, and currently provides programs across four facilities in the inner eastern suburbs.
The successful candidate(s) will, as a minimum, be available to coach morning training sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays, as well as afternoons through the week and on some weekends at designated swim meets. The candidate would be responsible primarily for the Junior program and assisting the Head Coach.
Applicants should be highly motivated, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to athletes of all ages and abilities. Prior experience working with State level swimmers and with school based programs will be highly regarded. ASCTA Bronze (Development) Accreditation is preferred but experienced candidates from a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Pool life-guard accreditation is required or will need to be attained.
Casual or permanent part-time hours could be considered for the right applicants. Salary will be negotiated depending on experience.
