Job Description

As we plan for the upcoming College Summer League, we're looking for eight (8) individuals to serve as the Sports Information Director (SID) of each team in the College Summer League at Grand Park. Grand Park's campus is located just north of downtown Indianapolis and is approximately 400 acres in whole; making it the largest outdoor turf sports complex in the country. Grand Park consists of 26 Baseball/Softball fields of various dimensions, 31 Soccer/Football fields, Pro X Athlete Facility (65,000 sq. ft.), Grand Park Event Center (377,000 sq. ft.), and the Pacers Athletic Center (88,000 sq. ft.). We are looking for highly motivated individuals looking to prepare and work towards a career in the Sports industry.

Responsibilities include managing Social Media accounts, team roster information, providing write ups on their designated team's games, compiling box scores and stats. Each SID will be required to operate Trackman or ScoreHQ during their team's game to ensure player statistics and data are accurate and up to date. The SIDs are fully responsible for their team's Twitter and Instagram accounts; ensuring that each team and it's players are being promoted through in-game updates, game write ups, post-game interviews, highlights, etc.

Typical work schedules will include both on-site and off-site work; the game schedule is currently set for one game on Sunday evenings, two games starting in the late afternoon on Monday, and one evening game on Tuesday. We will have a highlighted Game of the Week on either Thursday or Friday nights between only two of the eight teams. The season will start on Memorial Day and play through the end of July with an 8-week Regular Season before finishing with a potential 1-week playoff; depending on advancement.

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
