About the Role

The Head Strength and Conditioning Coach will implement, conduct, and monitor strength and conditioning programs for all members. You will work closely with the Facility Manager to deliver high quality and customer driven strength and conditioning programs within a group training environment. This individual will also work closely with the management team in designing a long-term strength and conditioning program to meet the needs of our consumers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

This role will focus on delivering the day to day strength & conditioning program. This will include, but not limited to:

  • Design and implement a long-term strength & conditioning program for general population
  • Create Educational Video Content on Strength & Conditioning topics as required
  • Lead and Educate a team of S&C coaches
  • Deliver and teach Strength & Conditioning programs to groups and individuals
  • Assist the Facility Manager in day to day operational requirements as needed.

Academic or Trade Qualifications

  • Degree in Sports Science/Human Movements (Masters in High Performance Sport/Strength & Conditioning preferred)
  • Suitable/Relevant certification (ASCA, NSCA, UKSCA, etc).
  • Valid Provide First Aid and CPR Certificate

Work Experience and Skills

To be considered, you will have a strong track record of the following:

  • 5+ years experience in delivering strength & conditioning programs to groups and individuals within a fitness and/or sports setting
  • Proven ability and knowledge in all areas of strength training as well as cardiovascular training, plyometrics and prehab/rehab.
  • Proven ability to teach, supervise and program Olympic lifts.
  • Experience in a similar leadership role in the fitness/sports industry
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Experience across CRM and Booking Platforms (Mind Body/Glow Fox/One Fit Stop) as well as Microsoft suite and online training platforms (Team Buildr/Train Heroic/Wodify)
  • Strong interest in strength & conditioning, fitness, and professional development
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Great communicator and an amazing ability to build rapport and relationships
