The job

We’re looking for an innovative, upbeat, enthusiastic, sports loving, graphic designer to join our Marketing and Communications team.

Your role as a ‘brand guardian’ for the Club and visual storyteller will require you to demonstrate that you are calm when there is chaos all around you and have the confidence to ‘speak up’ and question briefs when required.

This position will be suited to an individual who enjoys the team environment, has an innovative and visionary approach who possess the enthusiasm and energy to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, be resilient and a real people person.  This role is reportable to the Director of Marketing and works closely with other Club Department and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To create and deliver digital, brand, motion and print design output for the Club’s marketing/advertising, commercial, community and content teams
  2. To manage multiple design projects simultaneously for stakeholders across the organisation (marketing, content, community, commercial)
  3. To be the brand guardian - managing, evolving and articulating the Club’s Brand Guidelines
  4. To remain up-to-date on new design technology and design and social media trends

What we need from you:

  • Graphic Design Degree or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years’ experience working in a similar environment.
  • Proficient design skills in Adobe Software (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop)
  • Demonstrated project design skills.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills, proven ability to determine priorities, manage multiple design projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • A stickler for the details with the ability to multitask whilst meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent comms both verbal and written.
  • A people-person in every sense with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Innovative, upbeat, enthusiastic, resilient and an expert problem solver
  • High work commitment and ability to work on weekends, where required.
