We have a responsibility to govern, safeguard and develop the grassroots game to ensure the best and most welcoming football experiences for all across the capital. Every three years we run an open recruitment process for our Non-Executive Board Director positions, to ensure we attract and retain the best and most diverse group of people on our Board.
Whether you’re a lifelong football enthusiast, player, volunteer, coach or a corporate professional looking to volunteer your expertise, these roles are a fantastic way to support the development of grassroots football and its impact on people and communities across our great capital city.
There are seven (7) positions available on the London FA Board through this open recruitment process. These are 3 x Independent Non-Executive Directors and 4 x Non-Executive Football Directors. One of these positions can be a Finance & Risk Director.
Diversity is at the heart of our strategy, because it is at the heart of grassroots football in London. We are particularly keen to see candidates come forward from a wide range of different backgrounds, particularly where we are under-represented. This includes women, disabled people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups.
