About the Role
Moorabool Shire Council acknowledges the importance of a healthy, active and connected community and strives to work in partnership with the community in the planning and delivery of sport, recreation and leisure services, programs and facilities.
The position is responsible for supporting the Senior Community Recreation Planning Officer towards best practice outcomes in relation to strategic sport and participation outcomes and sporting infrastructure. It is responsible for supporting the allocation of sportsgrounds and pavilions and to liaise with sports clubs and recreation groups.

You will have experience in the sport, recreation or leisure sector especially in the area of working with grass roots sporting clubs and committees of management. You will be hands on, passionate and committed about assisting grass roots sporting clubs and community groups to operate effectively to deliver services within the community. You will have the ability to plan, communicate and deliver projects and programs to achieve the strategic vision. The position description (PD) outlines more detail.
