- Portsmouth Football Club have a number of vacancies for a part-time football coach, working exclusively within the academy’s development centre.
The role will be based at our training ground in Portsmouth, but will require travel to a variety of venues in and around the city to conduct one, one hour and fifteen minutes training session & one, one and half hour training session per week.
Additionally, matches are also to be covered weekly/fortnightly and this may be played local to Portsmouth or further afield. A clean driving licence is a necessity and a D1 category is desirable.
We require the successful candidate to have a FA level 2 minimum qualification working towards the UEFA B license. We also require the applicant to hold the FA youth award and we have a strong preference for the successful candidate to hold, or be working towards, the qualification of the Advanced Youth Award.
Experience of working in a coaching capacity in professional football and with young adolescents is desirable.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Clearance.
