Job Description

Overview
The Director of Event Production is responsible for the oversight and execution of all live event broadcast productions at Hard Rock Stadium, and special events hosted by the organization. This person should have a passion for cultivating a world-class visual and audio experience for the thousands of guests that attend each event.

Events include Miami Dolphins home games and special events, International Soccer events, Miami Open tennis tournament, and other major events each year at Hard Rock Stadium. This person would work in coordination with multiple internal departments to execute the full vision of all live entertainment.

General Job Description
• Is aware of the Miami Dolphins strategic, creative, financial and cultural goals at all times.
• Sets the direction for all live event production at Hard Rock Stadium and is responsible for the creation of all show documents and timing.
• Works in coordination with Broadcast Ops/IT in managing the control room technology.
• Manages PA Announcers and event DJs on the audio experience at Hard Rock Stadium.
• Works with Director of Video Content, Director of Creative, Director of Broadcast on all content creation and execution
• Manage budgets associated with video board and content display production.
• Works in coordination with Hard Rock Stadium corporate partners on content ideation and execution of contractual obligations.
• Understands and practices the NFL event presentation and broadcast policies in all aspects of gameday preparation and execution
• Collaborate with the creative, marketing & partnership teams to cross-promote all Hard Rock Stadium assets across all events and platforms
• Coordinate with stadium broadcast department to manage scheduling and direction for control room event day staff
• Responsible for the cultivation of a home-field advantage for all Miami Dolphins home games through concepting game-specific graphics, music & video content, pumpers, prompts, etc.
• Monitor fan reactions and provide feedback for video & graphic elements that are integrated in the show
• Review “Voice of the Fan” survey results and find solutions where the organization can improve

• Manage event timeline & scripting for in stadium matches and on campus videoboard displays
• Execution of all sponsor obligations
• Provide direction and management of internal and external content creation
• Coordinate all stage programming and music elements in stadium and on campus
• Production crew management

Soccer
• Coordinate Match timeline & script with promoter
• Execution of all video graphics to fulfill promoter and sponsor obligations
• Production crew management

Other Major Stadium Events
• Manage fan experience timeline & script
• Execution of all sponsor obligations
• Coordinate all stage programming and music elements
• Production crew management

Qualifications
• 8+ years leadership experience in live event production (preferably sports).
• 4-year collegiate degree in Broadcasting, Communications, PR, or Journalism.
• Strong knowledge of the National Football League, and its rules/regulations.
• Strong knowledge of standard major broadcast control room equipment and operations.
• A passion for music and understanding how that plays a key role in the live experience.
• Excellent communication skills
