We are seeking a driven team player, and multitasker, to join us to lead the delivery of sports programmes for our students, staff and the wider local community.
The Academy of Sport at London South Bank is a multifaceted and high performing department, combining academic and non-academic functions using sport and physical activity as the catalyst to improve the lives of our community.
You will report to the Sports Development Manager and will contribute to the delivery of key targets within the department's business plan. As part of the Academy staff team, who actively supervise and co-ordinate the operations of all areas of our offering, you will be required to work a shift pattern that covers the operational hours of the Academy and its activities, both internal and external. You will need, therefore, to be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work hours.
The successful candidate will be personable, organised, self-motivated and genuinely enthusiastic about the power of sport to improve our community, must be able to use their own initiative, be pro-active, work well under pressure and be able to work as part of a busy and friendly team. Above all, there must be a willingness to learn and improve and keep up to date with developments in sport and business needs.
