UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) is recruiting for a new Commission member to join its Athlete Commission. The purpose of the Commission is to "provide advice and opinion to the Board on athlete-related anti-doping matters, and to promote the work of UKAD".
The Commission is chaired by Sarah Winckless who is a UKAD Board member.
We are looking for UK current athletes or recently retired athletes (within three years) to attend three meetings a year (at least one of which must be in person) and locations vary in order to help attendance. We are particularly interested to receive applications from athletes who play team sports. The term limits are for two years. The role is unpaid but travel costs and reasonable expenses will be covered.
