Position Overview:
University of Northern Iowa Athletics and The Aspire Group seek a teachable, positive and passionate individual that is committed to becoming a sports sales industry leader. The Sales and Service Consultant’s revenue will be generated primarily by creating relationships via outbound phone calls. These calls will be supplemented with face-to-face meetings, in-arena/stadium tours and email marketing.  Day to day leadership and mentoring of this career growth oriented sports sales development program will be provided by the FRMC Manager. Sales and Service Consultants will receive the tools, programs and systems necessary for them to "BE GREAT."

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
Duties include performing outbound calls, taking inbound calls, and executing face-to-face meetings for University of Northern Iowa Athletics with a concentration on Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Wrestling, and Volleyball.
Inventory available for sale include: 
·         Season Tickets
·         Season Ticket Upgrades, Upsells & Add-ons
·         Group Ticket Packages & Fan Experience Packages
·         Partial/mini-plan Ticket Packages
·         Single Game Tickets
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
·         Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service
·         Grow sales significantly each week by attracting additional business leads
·         Be prepared to sell on behalf of University of Northern Iowa Athletics & The Aspire Group
·         Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers 
·         Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, in-person appointments and networking events to sell season tickets, partial plans and group ticket packages
·         Execute 65 to 75 outbound calls daily with the idea of building relationships
·         Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events in evenings and on weekends
·         Additional responsibilities as assigned by Leadership 
Qualifications & Requirements:
·         Desire to start and grow a career in the sports ticket sales industry or collegiate athletics
·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
·         Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail-oriented
·         Previous customer service or sales experience; displays a genuine desire to help people
·         Ticketing and CRM software experience preferred
·         Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills
·         Professional image and demeanor at all times
·         Ability to work well with others and comfortable taking initiative
·         Experience in ticket sales is preferred but not required
 Compensation: Competitive Base Salary, with the opportunity to earn commission on meeting or exceeding ticket sales goals
