About the Role

The Facilities Coordinator will assist the Facilities Manager in respect of facilities related issues including the Club’s leased premises on a day-to-day basis and working with KPST to ensure the Stadium is ready for match days

Key Responsibilities 

Your responsibilities & duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Facilities Manager in respect of the operation of the Club’s exclusive use areas within GMHBA Stadium 
  • Helping to ensure that GMHBA Stadium exclusive use areas are maintained to Australian Standards, the Building Code of Australia and Health and Safety standards
  • Coordinating all maintenance and other facility-related contracts and activities
  • Processing POs and raising invoices
  • Maintaining hazard/ incident registers
  • Maintaining contractor registers/ensuring currency of Certificates of Currency (insurances)
  • Contractor management (meet and greet/sign in and access)
  • Purchasing/procurement
  • Working with the Club’s risk manager, supporting the risk management KPIs and reporting requirements, and management of the Club’s insurance policies and coverage with the AFL collective insurance program 
  • Administration support to the Strategy and Growth Team as required

Skills and Attributes

  • Facilities management experience desired but not essential
  • Capability to manage and prioritise multiple projects/programs of work
  • Stakeholder management skills and proven capability to work positively and effectively as part of a collaborative work team, and to work independently where required
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Observe and adhere to Club confidentiality with respect to communications with media and external parties
