Salary: £21,000 FTE per annum (£15,000 pro rata per annum)
Part Time: 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Hamble (hybrid working)

We are looking for a Publishing & Product Coordinator to join the Publications Department on a part-time basis, 5 days a week.
The ideal candidate will excel at liaising with all relevant RYA departments acting as the primary product champion of RYA Publications pushing key product information for new books and editions out through relevant channels. The main areas of the role will be on maintaining online shops, some e-commerce activity, promotion, and licensing with event support when required. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, friendly and accomplished publishing team.

The accountabilities of the post holder will include but are not limited to:
• E-Commerce – maintaining our retail web shop, the online trade shop and the Publications areas of the RYA website, management of product information, imagery and price where we have direct online and social media presence for direct sales.
• Other Commercial – basic product performance and competitor analysis, setting up records for new suppliers and customers, approving trade account applications and trade discounts, reconciling monthly reports and managing the RYA voucher scheme.
• Promotion and Events – developing promotional material, promoting publications and organising materials for events.
• Licensing & Royalties - liaising with foreign publishers on fees, terms, payments and processing author royalty payments
