Interview date1 September 2022Job DescriptionLCA Sports are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to assist our medical department. Ideally, we are looking for newly qualified sports therapists/rehabilitants or 3rd year university students. LCA Sports are a community-based organisation that aim to bridge the gap between academy and grassroots football.
Provide emergency first aid cover – during trainings and matchday.
Supporting and creating rehab plans for any recovering players.
Keep detailed and accurate records of injuries and treatments.
Constant communication with coaches and parents regarding players’ injury and availability.
Liaise with club staff to update for player’s rehabilitation progress.
Promote the safeguarding and welfare of children within the club.
Attending CPD Opportunities and covered FA Courses
Working on weekend mornings
Essential / Desired Requirements:
Sports Therapy or sport rehabilitator degree (E).
Basic Life Support or any first aid qualification (E).
Valid Safeguarding Certification and DBS (D)
Experience of working in professional sport with young people (D)
Flexible to attend matches and weekend training
Good assessing skills and listening skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good knowledge of common sport injuries in football and treatment
Good problem-solving and people skills
Working Days & Hours
Saturday 9:20am - 11:00am
Sunday Matches (Any time between 9:00am - 2pm)
