Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the ongoing coordination and success of Fitness Edge Swim School through operations excellence
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the swim school, including but not limited to class enrolments, supervising staff, plant operations, and responding to customer enquiries
- Managing a team, organising staff rosters/timesheets and maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Providing a high level of customer service to parents and caregivers and maintaining customer satisfaction to ensure the retention of swimmers
- Encouraging progression of students and rewarding them for their achievements
- Class scheduling to optimise the efficient delivery of the programs
- Quality assurance of programs delivery
- Promoting learning and growth for yourself and your team
- Staying in touch by undertaking some in-water teaching and pool deck supervision
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a LTS management role
- Superior organizational and leadership skills
- The ability to provide efficient day-to-day management of the Swim School
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant Aquatics
The following will be highly regarded:
- Pool Operations certificate or equivalent experience
- Provide First Aid HLTAID011
- Coaching experience
- Exposure/experience in monitoring water quality
- AUSTSWIM Assessor
Essential Requirements
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety / Swim Australia Teacher
- Teacher of Babies and Toddlers / Infant and Preschool Aquatics
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
