Job Description

Soccer Assist is a scholarship agency that helps student-athletes earn soccer scholarships at American Universities. In addition to this, we run a full time football and educational program as well as deliver a range of soccer programs aimed towards developing talent. Our mission is to become a full service soccer agency that runs academies, secures scholarships, and works with pro athletes.

We’re looking for someone who is a team player, organised and has the ability to learn quickly. Your eye for detail and organisational skills are important to ensure the quality of service we’re delivering to our clients is to a high standard. You must also possess the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously, without compromising on the quality. We need someone who will embody the Soccer Assist ethos with a strong passion for helping others.

Mission for the Account Coordinator
To support the Placement Team with newly signed clients onto the Soccer Assist programme, by completing a variety of duties including Next Step Calls, post-call write ups, updating CRM, as well as
providing post-commitment support to clients, all while ensuring fantastic customer service is provided.

That being said, the role is not all sunshine and roses – there is some good news and some bad news.

Let’s start with the bad news:
- This is a full time role that requires you to manage multiple projects, work towards deadlines and maintain a high level of quality. You will need to be comfortable taking ownership, using your own initiative and managing your time effectively.
- Your success in the role will be measured based on clear metrics that you will be made aware of if you join us. You’ll be expected to achieve company targets, which can mean working long hours from time to time as you may have periods where you’re dealing with multiple deadlines that require your attention. There will be times when you’re under pressure to perform, so you’ll need to be prepared for this.

Now for the good stuff:
- This is mainly a remote based role with 1-2 working days per month from our serviced offices in Central Milton Keynes.

Roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Dealing with newly signed Soccer Assist clients
- Sending welcome emails and information to new clients
- Showing enthusiasm as you will be the first point of contact for a family after committed
- Inviting and scheduling Next Step Calls
- Completing in-depth write ups following Next Step Calls, including preferences for the placement team to use for promotion
- Uploading recorded Next Step Calls to company drive to be used for further training and development

2. Client and parent liaison
- Being available to speak with clients and parents at any time throughout the process to provide updates
- Schedule regular follow ups with clients and report information back to placement team, including what players are hot/cold/warm, who needs contacting
- To be able to recognise common trends and patterns within ‘paying clients’
- Advise clients with necessary grade evaluations
- Assist with tutor service process for clients looking for extra support academically
- Present solutions to customers confidently
- Build relationships with clients and parents
- Maintain a close working relationship with the Placement team to be aware of coaches recruitment needs
- Support clients and stakeholders with Soccer Assist training wear orders
- Attend showcase events to build relationships with clients and parents

3. Dealing with successfully placed Soccer Assist clients
- Supporting successfully placed Soccer Assist clients with admissions, VISA, eligibility process
- Providing assistance if needed with booking flights for clients
- Schedule follow ups with clients who are in the US to see how they are progressing and ensuring we are providing the pastoral support they need
- Securing client bookings for the summer preparation camp
- Follow up to secure positive TrustPilot reviews which can then be shared with clients and parents throughout the process
- Be the point of contact for Challenger Sports coaching opportunities, and contact clients in the US to gage interest of benefiting from the partnership

4. Administration duties
- Update database/CRM with notes/data on a regular basis and ensure all relevant information is captured throughout the process
- Maintain the speed and quality required for each CRM dashboard stage
- Template creation for client and parent emails
- Assist marketing team with blog write up content
- Provide marketing team with regular updates on new signings and secured placements information for social media publications
- Deal with multiple clients all at different stages of the pipelines and therefore all requiring different support and level of care
- Liaise with the Recruitment team to prepare for potential new clients signing
- Compile and report client placement numbers
- Ensure client athletes page is completed efficiently and follow up with clients if not completing tasks
- Review recorded calls and zooms, and always look to improve delivery

Every job has its requirements. These are ours;
- High attention to detail to ensure we deliver an excellent service across all our events and projects.
- A good knowledge of US collegiate sport (ideally a former US college coach or US college student-athlete) is desirable, along with knowledge of the SAT exam, VISA process, and college eligibility.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking, and being able to manage multiple clients/contacts at one time, while not letting standards drop.
- Deliver a high level of service with enthusiasm.
- Always go above and beyond for our clients.
- Relevant administration experience.
- Experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel) is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. This includes professional email etiquette, timely responses, call-backs and being able to clearly and effectively communicate with individuals.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Always put in the activity in order to get the results expected - no shortcuts!
- Take ownership and be accountable for your actions

- Starting salary: £20,000
