The Role

The FMA Event Signage Department is responsible for planning and overseeing the event signage delivery of AFC’s commercial rights (for sponsors and media partners) at all AFC events, matches and tournaments.

Reporting and assisting to the SVP Event Signage, this role will be responsible for project management control process, assuring operations delivery and materials transport for the smooth delivery of all event signage programs at all AFC events, matches and tournaments included in the FMA portfolio.

 

 

FMA is seeking a highly experienced signage event delivery expert to coordinate our event signage operations in the West Asia, Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia and ASEAN regions.

 



Key Responsibilities

Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

 

 

  • Project management support to the Event Signage team
  • Assist in development and implementation of match/tournament operational plans for signage and logistics
  • Assurance delivery of project management for all significant project planning activities across the signage teams (both physical signage and LED projects)
  • Ensuring and monitoring that a structured approach is used for all significant project planning activities
  • Support in the development and provision of assurance delivery best practices and supporting tools: project schedule, risk management, change management, communication plan
  • Centralised collation and reporting of project data
  • Performing risk management to include risk identification, development of risk mitigations
  • Develop communications plan with appropriate stakeholders to ensure key information on project is communicated on a regular basis
  • Monitor and track execution of deliverables against project plan to include weekly and monthly reporting as required
  • Support in internal governance and approval processes
  • Manage project in accordance with key performance indicators and status project regularly against agreed upon indicators.
  • Assist on management of the signage and logistics budget and responsibility for cost management and internal reporting
  • Logistic project planning on the event basis and operations calendar for the upcoming matches
  • Stock taking of all event equipment such as event press conference name stand, staff uniforms in FMA HK warehouse.
  • Logistic arrangement, handle of event equipment & staff uniform shipments/courier services.

 

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience as project manager, operations manager, event delivery manager linked to the sports/football industry
  • Excellent expertise in project management, delivery of signage and branding for sport events
  • Thorough understanding of signage logistic processes
  • Experience managing project lifecycles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and complex timelines
  • Fluent in English
