The Mt Gravatt Aquatic & Fitness Centre on the Griffith University Mt Gravatt Campus is seeking a suitably qualified Head Swim Coach to take the lead in managing and growing our amateur Swim Squad Program, in a casual staff capacity. Hours are based on seasonal requirements and program growth, and currently sit in the range of 10-15 hours per week.
- Develop and deliver all components of the Mt Gravatt Aquatic & Fitness Centre squad programs
- Increase participation and engagement
- Develop and maintain working relationships with all squad members, families, potential customers and all relevant stakeholders
- Uphold a high level of customer service at all times.
- Work within a team focused on delivering a service that achieves the vision, mission and goals of the organisation.
About you
- Reliable, flexible and customer focused.
- Experience in managing and executing high quality swimming programs to a diverse range of participants both youth and adult age groups.
- Current Coaching qualifications and extensive experience are required, (pool lifeguard qualifications is advantageous).
- You will display the values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence and responsibility.
- Availability : Must have flexibility to work on mornings and evenings across the week including availability to work on weekends.
This is a casual position based at the Mt Gravatt Campus.
Salary range
Casual hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
