Tottenham Hotspur is a world famous football club based in North London. The Club operates out of multiple sites, including a state-of–the-art Training Centre in Enfield (EN2) where the women’s first team are based.
The department ensures that all analysis is undertaken to the highest of standards, pushing the boundaries of techniques and technologies used. The Club is offering a unique opportunity to join the women’s first team on a paid internship within the analysis department.
All applicants should have a good level of football knowledge, a related undergraduate degree (or working towards one) and prior experience of workflows within a football club’s performance analysis department. They should also have a strong work ethic and incredibly high standards.

To assist in the delivery of high-level performance analysis for the Women’s First Team staff and players.
To play a pivotal role in the daily workflows of the first team analysis department.
Provide assistance in creating detailed opposition reports using video & performance data. Work in conjunction with Lead Performance Analyst to provide actionable insights to support preparation for matches.
Lead with the filming of training sessions and the databasing of training footage across various platforms (Hudl, Internal Server)
Provide in-game analysis functions including filming & live coding.
Work in partnership with other analyst & coaching staff to provide training analysis as required
Contribute to timely post-match analysis reports, generating bespoke performance data to review match performance. Assist in the delivery of post-match reports to coaching staff/players.
Support the response to ad hoc requests from coaches, players & practitioners as delegated by the lead performance analyst
Continually develop an evolving library of opposition analysis (data & video) to allow for longitudinal analysis of Spurs Women and opposition at a team & individual level
Thinks ahead, generates innovative ideas & proactive in trying to support and improve team performance

Skills & Experience
Relevant Undergraduate degree (or working towards) in Sports Science/Coaching
A good level of football knowledge
Some prior experience in a performance environment as an analyst
IT savvy, proficient with basic packages and able to pick up new technology quickly
Good video-editing skills
Creative presentation skills
Experience using performance analysis related software (Sportscode, Hudl, Wyscout etc.)
Masters degree (or working towards) in Performance Analysis
Numbers and Keynote skills and experience
Experience in Hudl Studio/CoachPaint
