Based from our depot in Ohakune, we are on the look-out for a Asset Maintenance Operator to join our Ruapehu team in mid June 2022.
Are you a Jack-of-all-Trades? We're on the look-out for an Asset Maintenance Operator to join our Ruapehu on a permanent, full-time basis
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the Ohakune sites playgrounds, sports courts, BBQ's, bus shelters, waterways, and parks furniture throughout the district. Based from the Ruapehu depot, your duties will include but not limited to basic handyman functions, playground inspections and minor repairs, playground aeration, cleaning, refurbishments and asset validation of all parks assets. At times you may be required to assist the wider Ruapehu team.
Success Factors
- You will possess a broad range of handyman skills and preferably have previous experience with maintenance and inspections
- A current full driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential
- A high level of attention to detail, have a strong work ethich and demonstrate a positive attitude towards working safely
- You will have excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual, co-operative, and maintain positive working relationships.
- You must be able to work flexible hours to meet the client's requirements
