UCFB is seeking a motivated events professional that will bring energy and enthusiasm to this Events Coordinator role. Ensuring that UCFB / GIS events continue to deliver consistently high quality experiences from our world-class higher education portfolio, set in elite level sporting venues.
You will be a diligent and organised administrative planner, as well as a hands-on event support, working towards event lead. With event coordination experience, you will be used to delivering to deadlines and to an excellent standard.
Relationship management is crucial in this role, therefore, you should be confident in liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, with the ability to negotiate to find solutions.
You will possess strong administrative and organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail. Some experience of creating event materials, such as running orders, scripts, handouts, event packs and gifts as well as creating and delivering presentations will be advantageous. Knowledge of online and virtual events would also be a bonus!
Having excellent customer service skills, you will strive for a positive event experience for all attendees, and have an understanding of the importance of event success. You will maintain a professional approach and act as a brand ambassador when representing the institution.
You will understand the nature of an events based role, with some flexibility required to working hours, as the event schedule demands.
Having an understanding of Higher Education and empathy for university students will also be important in this role.
