Experienced, commercially-oriented, enthusiastic and dedicated Swim School Manager required at Swim School based in Crows Nest, Sydney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is inspired to manage an independently owned swim school. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Swim School or Fitness/Sports Industry manager who is excited to take on a rewarding and fulfilling role.
At Pacific Swim School we encourage a supportive learning environment for every child to develop and learn essential learn-to-swim and water safety skills for children and infants from 3 months of age.

We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills, a commercially-oriented mindset in order to develop and drive the business forward and a commitment to developing and supporting a team to ensure a positive environment for staff.
Responsibilities include:
- The ongoing management and success of Pacific Swim School through operations excellence
- Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the swim school, including but not limited to class enrolments, supervising staff, plant operations, and responding to customer enquiries
- Managing a team, organising staff rosters and maintaining a positive workplace culture
- Providing a high level of customer service to parents and caregivers and maintaining customer satisfaction to ensure retention of customers
- Developing a strong marketing presence including social media marketing and taking ownership for promoting and building the business
- Encouraging progression of students and rewarding them for their achievements
- Class scheduling to optimise the efficient delivery of the programs
- Quality assurance of programs delivery
- Promoting learning and growth for yourself and your team
- Stock management
If you have prior experience in swim teaching and managing/supervising a swim school, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong leadership ability, and a passion and enthusiasm for the learn to swim industry, then we want to hear from you!
The role is permanent full time. Weekend work required.
Essential Requirements
- First Aid Certificate
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Experience in a similar supervision or management role in the aquatics industry or similar (Sports/Fitness)
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
- Highly motivated, flexibility, collaborative and a lateral-thinker
- Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
- Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications or willingness to obtain
