Job Description
The Western Australian Diving Association Incorporated (Diving WA) is the State Sporting Association for springboard and platform diving in Western Australia. Diving WA has a clear vision to be ‘A sport of choice for Western Australians’. The four pillars within Diving WA - Governance , Sport Delivery, High Performance & Participation, underpin this vision and purpose of ‘increasing awareness of Diving in WA and to promote participation and success in the sport.
Reporting to the Diving WA Chief Executive Officer, the Development Officer is responsible for assisting in the development and growth of the sport including participation, school engagement and event management.

Selection Criteria
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the development and promotion of grass roots sport.
- Experience in program development and member engagement.
- Knowledge of not-for-profit organisations and the Australian sporting landscape (knowledge specific to diving is desirable but not essential).
- Experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Current WA Working with Children Card/ Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current Australian drivers’ licence.
The position is a part-time role working 20 hours per week. A salary of $50,000 - $60,000 plus superannuation, will be offered to the successful candidate.
