The Company. Field Gun Sport is a start-up that will bring a new generation of civilian, professional Field Gunners to the training ground and track as part of global touring league. Training will be a mix of skills and strength and conditioning, leading to team selection and crew training before competing at tournaments as part of an international tour.
Background. Historically, the sport of Command Field Gun was the preserve of the Royal Navy. The pinnacle of the sport was inter-command competition held annually at the Royal Tournament until it was discontinued in 1999. A generation later it is set to return as a civilian professional sport with a global presence.
