Paralympics Australia (PA) supports and enhances Australian Para-athletes who aspire to be Paralympians and in doing so inform and inspire all Australians. Working closely with a passionate and driven leader, this is a special time to join Paralympics as we prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games. Based at Sydney Olympic Park, this role has an integral part to play in providing high-level confidential, professional and administration support to our CEO and Board, to ensure they are prepared to deliver what is required to support a successful Games. Responsibilities include: Manage complex and changing diaries, including scheduling, negotiating appointments and organising associated and supporting documentation Work closely with the CEO to ensure deadlines are met and emails are addressed Arrange for the collation and distribution of Board papers and packs and record and distribute minutes Coordinate effective meetings by organising agendas, provide confidential minute taking and follow up of actions items Support key operations of CEO and Senior Leadership Team Be proactive in managing the CEO’s workload through email and travel management and ensure deadlines are not missed Organise travel and catering for various meetings as required Provide office support including the repair and maintenance of office equipment, mail distribution and the arrangement of security and car parking passes This role would suit someone with previous EA experience, project management or an events coordination background. They will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high quality outcomes is essential as is the capability to work under pressure and handle confidential matters with discretion.
